Something for a friend
This is an artwork I did for a friend. I know the work may look a bit juvenile, my niece may be able to do a better job. Then again, with plain 80gsm copier paper, there is just this much I can do with watercolor. Yes you heard me right, this is done using watercolor.
The story behind this painting is that my friend, Sheri, once said that I will have to get ready to starve if I were to wait for her to spoon feed me. Well, call me sly if you want, yes, I am making that happen. Ahhh, I used to do that to Mike, my husband too. If he gets into my nerves so much so, and I can’t make him do star jump or pull his ears as gesture of apology, I realise that fantasy by drawing. LOL
I am going to make something out of this and pack into the buddy bag I am getting ready for Sheri.
Talking about painting, I ought to get myself the set of brushes. I used to have a wide collection which I bought when I was doing my Arts subject. Since it was my major, we were asked to purchase at least a set of 6 brushes.. That was an expensive brand (right, I must be still stucked in the shock of the high price that I can’t remember the brand now!) so I had a little trouble asking mum for money to pay for that. Mum would prefer me to do other subjects rather than Arts, the materials were more expensive than any other subjects.
Woohooo, am I not excited about it.. I have a few things to pack in the buddy bag, and I want to get it out soon, for a good reason, which I can’t reveal here, in case she peeks into my blog.
