Amigurumi Kangie, The Shy Baby Kangaroo

This baby kangaroo was long decided to be born when I first set my eyes on the real baby kangaroo in Australia.

I named him Kangie, and I gave him a great personality too! He is a very generous baby kangaroo, and don’t misunderstand that he bags all the grasses for himself. He is bagging them just so that he can share with his kangaroo mates.

This was the real baby kangaroo we saw and fed at The Big Pineapple, Sunshine Coast in Australia. He is a little shy, so we just left the food on the ground.

Kangie is really quite tiny, (as usual) he stands at a height of 6.5cm (2.55″) including his ears.

I made an amazingly wrong head for Kangie initially, and guess what, it was a beautiful mistake. I now have something else in mind for that head. If I can manage the time, I may just go ahead and make the new pattern tomorrow.
