We are being suspended by eBay (resolving it)
If you visit my eBay store now, you see this message ‘Sorry, this store does not exist’.
I am not sure if I would be able to reinstate my account, but I am trying to resolve this issue with eBay.
Apparently, it was decided that Machine should take over Human Intelligence in my case. I have stopped listing my digital products on eBay, as I had announced in my website as well as blogged it up here. However, there is this naughty feature in eBay that the listings do get automatically relisted when they get expired.
I had consulted the Live Help (A really wonderful feature that eBay has implemented) twice on the digital product listing matter. I wasn’t aware that there is going to be a change in the policy, so when I tried to relist the sold items on 25 March, I just couldn’t get pass the steps. The ‘helper’ told me that the current listings will be active till they get expired. Therefore, I didn’t do anything about them, and put up notice that the listings will not be relisted once sold or expired.
I really have no idea what I was doing wrong, but I guess when the expired listing started to relist themselves automatically (I don’t think there is any option to deselect this feature, not that I know of) the system captured that action that I was trying to relist them, hence the violation? That also led to shutting down of my eBay store. boo
Anyway, I am waiting for eBay to respond to my email. Meanwhile, my website store is open 24/7.
