some ranting
I am 2 months behind my accounts work (how I hate accounting!), and now I am suddenly some 8 months behind the year end closing!
There have been quite a bit of discussions about Dawanda billing us retroactively, and I didn’t realize (as usual, slow reaction) how it may affect me, until I finally received the invoice yesterday. See, I had basically closed the accounts for Year 2008, and really glad I put it all behind, and simply pull out the numbers when it’s time to file for income tax (which is like.. now!).
Now, the bill is for July 2008 onwards. I don’t know, do I change every single month end accounts and then the year end accounts, so that the profit and loss is accurate? Or do I take in as this month’s expenses. I have no idea!
I will have to let it sink over the weekends, and then think through. The problem is that I am only paying now, but the invoices are meant for last year. My brain is not designed to do sums, if you must know. Numbers and I are never really good friends, and at times, I imagined that numbers actually treat me as arch enemy. (~_~”)
Ok, this is the plan, I will think about this on Monday. =P
