a friend indeed
I did a bunch of things today, and over the weekends, and I still have bunches of stuffs to finish. (~_~”)
This is probably the second time (the first time was the bride from Brunei, who literally ‘pestered’ me about making payment to me) I get someone so eager to pay me for the job. A friend called today, and all I heard was ‘I want to pay you now’. hahaha.
The next funniest thing was when she told me that the main reason she wanted to pay me immediately was because she read my blog and learnt that I am going on vacation. She wanted to pay me so that I have money to spend on the holiday.
This friend is a very special friend, I have always liked her since I first met her. I love candid and sincere person, it also helps that she is drop dead gorgeous. hahaha.
She must have picked up the impression from the ‘I am a struggling crafter’ line. I think I will always be a struggling crafter, regardless of the money I earn. We will always struggle to break-through, and improve. Struggle is not a negative word, it’s quite an encouraging word by me. Struggle when dealt with care, have its advantage of resulting series of thoughts and ideas.
Ok, I am just weird. Now, I am struggling in deciding to edit the bunch of photos, or to pour myself a nice glass of choya and slide through the hour before ‘House’ starts to show on the cable. It’s not quite a struggle, I am choosing the latter. (^_^)
