share, care, play, eat on no work day!

What do you have in plan for this well celebrated day?

Let’s see, I have said too much about being tired, and my husband, Mike made me promise not to work on Christmas day. I have a 60cm x 40cm x 30cm box waiting to be collected by the courier man, but it won’t be after the gazette holiday on Monday.

So, what am I going to do for the day? It’s officially a “No Work Day”, and because blogging on the craftblog seems to step into the grey area of work and ‘fun’, so while Mikes goes out for lunch with his friend – I would never go out on most festive day as it’s sardine packed everywhere in our tiny little dot on the map – I sneak in to blog on this.

We may have spent too much over Christmas, and Mike and I decide on a “No Pressie Christmas”. This day is the perfect day to share as much, or as little that you could afford, to charitable purposes, agree? I count my blessings today that even though I am not rich, but I am not starving too – not counting the skipped meals due to super work overload.

I have so much in my life now, I couldn’t ask for more, as any more is bonus, but not to be desired for. On this day, while I count my blessings, I share my humble tiny wealth with the needy. I donate a small fraction of my collection to World Vision, so that some children may feel some warmth on this day. It is really convenient to donate, so there is practically no excuse not to, yes?

I have promised not to work today, and gaming is allowed, and my recent favorite game is “zuma blitz” on facebook. I purchased a 24-hr Life power with the “idols” that I have earned so far. That enables me to game the whole day without running out of “lifes”, sweet!

I might have sinful curry that mum cooked – for the Christmas party that is held at my uncle’s, but she leaves some for us – and sip the peach bacardi while I catch up the recorded telly episodes. I want to do some crochet too, which was initially ‘forbidden’ by Mike. I debated that I enjoy crochet very much, so crochet should not be classified solely under ‘work’ category. I won the debate and I am allowed to crochet as long as it’s not for work.

No matter what you have in plan today, I hope it’s a fun filled and enjoyable one. Perhaps performing a random act of kindness or charitable expression may brighten your day even more?
