I know I really should be working on the FAQ already. There are some questions that I answered on regular basis, and it’s really not the buyers’ issue.

One of the most often asked question/feedback is not directly related to our comprehensive shopping cart system, in fact, it is because we use a cart this comprehensive, we are able to offer more competitive options. The question is usually related to PayPal, the payment gateway that we use to accept Credit/Debit card payment or from your PayPal balance (which can be funded by your bank account in your country – selected countries only, unfortunately).

Since beginning to sell online, I have been involuntarily ‘trained’ to the PayPal expert, in some ways.

One of the common difficulties met with PayPal while shopping online and shipping to a different address that is not your resident country is that PayPal does not allow you to enter a different country different from yours (either your credit card, or the address registered with PayPal).

I have written to PayPal and it is confirmed that it’s not allowed, because the addresses kept with PayPal is restrictive to the country where you opened the account with. However, if the merchant’s webstore has the capability to store ‘Gift Address’, you can checkout and make payment, and have your order shipped to a different address.

I have tested using PayPal login, and Credit/Debit card payment, and created a step-by-step guide – Shipping to Different Address, for those of you who have had encountered this problem while shopping with us.

In short,

1. You have to add the address in your address book on SAPLANET ORIGINALS’ Account page after log in

2. Shop and add items into shopping cart as usual

3. Choose the new address at checkout page

4. Proceed with the rest of the checkout stages

5. When redirected to the secured payment page on PayPal, choose to pay using your PayPal account, or Credit/Debit card

6. DO NOT change the address, proceed to fill in all required fields (see more notes on this)

7. Upon successful checkout, you will be redirected back to our website with a confirmed order number.

Special note:

1. #6 – Note that PayPal checks and matches the city, state, country and postal code at their end, it is important that you have provided an accurate and valid address when creating the new address; if you have entered a mismatched address, PayPal will return with an error message (We have absolutely no control over this, no one has). If this happens, select ‘cancel and return to Simple Arts Planet (SAPLANET) at the footer of the PayPal payment page. Go back to the address book to make changes, and then checkout again.
